No civilization and no population have suffered such a neglect and marginalization as that suffered by the Assyrians
The pretext that Assyrians were ruthless is absolutely not true
The Assyrians were the only conquering force in human history that treated all people within their rule fairly and equally. They offered all conquered population first class citizens without discrimination
The Assyrian not only gave conquered populations equal citizenship, but also allowed them to worship freely their gods while also revering the sacrality of ilu-Assur (God Assur) without the condition of worshiping him
Hence, Assurism (Assyrianism) is not mere ethnicity, but nationality
Other populations from the levant, Urartu, Anatolia, …etc. became national citizens of Assyrian and Assyrians, and of equal rights and privileges to Assyrians in Mat-Assur, after becoming under the protection of the empire
Assyrians never abused or oppressed anyone
The Assyrians had a strong military arm which was a might to be feared off at the time, but that was like any other empire of ancient times like the Romans
Unfortunately, the enemies and haters of the Assyrian Civilization portrayed them as a mere military ruthless machine to distort its true image and reputation
They used it as an excuse to destroy and eradicate it and deny all its people from existence
While the truth is that the very same people and kingdoms which toppled the Assyrian Civilization used the foundations of the Assyrians to build their own. They used the Assyrian generals, scholars, artists, …etc. to build their own kingdoms
Best example is what the Babylonians, Medes and Persians did. They took advantage of the fall of the Assyrians and used them to build their own armies and kingdoms
Not only that, but they also hijacked and stole the Assyrians culture and knowledge and attributed it to themselves. They also buried the Assyrian cities and made sure they were without a trace to be found
This matter remained so until in recent centuries everything started to be unearthed by modern archeologists
Still though, earlier scholars who wrote about the Assyrian Civilization were western orientalist, and not native people, and until recently
The findings about the Assyrian Civilization are extraordinary
There was science in Assyria, and it was astonishing to discover the Assyrians had scientists which took Dr. Al-Majidi 100 pages of writing about them, and that is only about the science which the Assyrians pioneered
Therefore, the Assyrians were interested occupied with science and had many scientists and science fields. While the falsifiers only focus on the military machine
In terms of art, there is nothing great and no match to the Assyrian Art
Assyrian Art is the prime art of the whole of Mesopotamia
The Romans copied the Assyrians in their artwork and learned from it
The Assyrian Music in turn was advanced and it became the basis for the Greek music, like the seventh scale in music
Therefore, all the achievements of Assyrians continued, albeit was not acknowledged under the auspices of portrayed cruelty which is completely untrue and the opposite
The Assyrians simply were great at everything
In terms of current divisions and sectarian denominations amongst Assyrians, scientific finds oblige us to tell what factual truth is
There is Babylonian Civilization, and not Chaldean
Only the eleventh royal family of Babylon was from a Chaldean tribe
Ancient Chaldeans, or more accurately Chaldea, were Aramaic tribes
It is only in recent times and through Christianity that these terms emerged, like the Chaldo-Assyrians-Syriacs which is not accurate and not sound. It is an attempt to merge religion with nationality which is not right
!?There is a lot of in this matter and even one question if Babylonian people exist now and who are they
The term(s) is used to bring political alliance, but resorting to the scientific approach is better in this regard
The Assyrians were the most peaceful and the most people to be around than any others, and they were concerned with the wellbeing and safety of everyone else
Initially, 99% of Assyrians were farmers. They pioneered farming and agriculture, and their lands were fertile
They started suffering from invasions from outside gangsters from all around Assyria. They would attack during harvest time and steal all the harvest, and this would happen time after time and year after year
As such, the Assyrians had no option but to build defenses which then led them to the idea of building an army
The Assyrians excelled and their empire grew in strength and reached its zenith between 911-612BCE
The Assyrians conquered hostile regions and built the first true empire in history and divided its regions into smaller kingdoms with vassal kings or governors
They considered everyone Assyrian national and asked other regions to uphold the sacrality of ilu-Assur without imposing any conditions to worship him and to use his symbols as their national Assyrian identity
Those regions and kingdoms had the complete freedom of worshipping their regional gods and maintaining their religions
The first 4 strong Sargonid kings were unfortunately followed by 4 weak ones and eventually the empire fell to the coalition of forces from Babylon, Mede and others

لم تتعرض أي حضارة أو شعب لمثل هذا الإهمال والتهميش الذي تعرض له
الآشوريون
إن الذريعة القائلة بأن الآشوريين كانوا قساة غير صحيحة على الإطلاق
كان الآشوريون القوة الفاتحة الوحيدة في تاريخ البشرية التي عاملت جميع الناس ضمن حكمها بإنصاف وعلى قدم المساواة. لقد قدموا لجميع السكان المحتلين مواطنة من الدرجة الأولى دون تمييز
لم يمنح الآشوريون السكان المغزوين مواطنة متساوية فحسب، بل سمحوا لهم أيضًا بعبادة آلهتهم بحرية مع احترام قدسية إيلو-آشور (الإله آشور) دون شرط عبادته
ومن هنا فإن الآشورية (الآشورية) ليست مجرد عرق او قومية، بل هوية وطنية
شعوب أخرى من بلاد الشام، أورارتو، الأناضول، …إلخ. أصبحوا مواطنين آشوريين، وبحقوق وامتيازات متساوية للآشوريين في ارض آشور المركزية، بعد أن أصبحوا تحت حماية الإمبراطورية
الآشوريون لم يسيئوا أو يضطهدوا أحداً أبداً
كان للآشوريين ذراعا عسكرية قوية كانت مخيفة في ذلك الوقت، ولكن هذا كان الشان مع أي إمبراطورية أخرى في العصور القديمة مثل الرومان
وللأسف فإن أعداء الحضارة الآشورية وكارهيها صوروها على أنها مجرد آلة عسكرية لا ترحم لتشويه صورتها وسمعتها الحقيقية
اتخذوها ذريعة لتدميرها واستئصالها وانكار كل أهلها من الوجود
في حين أن الحقيقة هي أن نفس الشعوب والممالك التي أطاحت بالحضارة الآشورية استخدمت أسس الآشوريين لبناء حضارتهم الخاصة. واستعانوا بالجنرالات والعلماء والفنانين الآشوريين…إلخ. لبناء ممالكهم الخاصة
وخير مثال هو ما فعله البابليون والميديون والفرس. حيث استغلوا سقوط الآشوريين واستخدموهم في بناء جيوشهم وممالكهم
ليس هذا فحسب، بل اختطفوا وسرقوا الثقافة والمعرفة الآشورية ونسبوها لأنفسهم. كما قاموا بدفن المدن الآشورية
والتأكد من خلوها من أي أثر
وظل هذا الأمر كذلك حتى في القرون الأخيرة حين بدأ علماء الآثار المعاصرون بالكشف عن كل شيء
ومع ذلك، فإن العلماء الأوائل الذين كتبوا عن الحضارة الآشورية كانوا من المستشرقين الغربيين، وليسوا من السكان الأصليين، وحتى وقت قريب
النتائج المتعلقة بالحضارة الآشورية غير عادية
كان هناك علم في آشور، وكان من المدهش أن نكتشف أن لدى الآشوريين علماء، وقد كتب الدكتور الماجدي عنهم 100 صفحة، وهذا فقط عن العلم الذي كان الآشوريون رائدين فيه
ولذلك اهتم الآشوريون بالعلم وكان لهم العديد من العلماء والمجالات العلمية. بينما يركز المزورون فقط على الآلة العسكرية
من الناحية الفنية، لا يوجد شيء عظيم ولا يضاهي الفن الآشوري
الفن الآشوري هو الفن الرئيسي في بلاد ما بين النهرين بأكملها
قلد الرومان الآشوريين في أعمالهم الفنية وتعلموا منها
تطورت الموسيقى الآشورية بدورها وأصبحت أساس الموسيقى اليونانية كالسلم السابع في الموسيقى
ولذلك فإن كل إنجازات الآشوريين استمرت وإن لم يتم الاعتراف بها تحت شعار القسوة المصورة وهذا غير صحيح تماماً بل هو عكس ذلك
لقد كان الآشوريون ببساطة رائعين في كل شيء
فيما يتعلق بالانقسامات والطوائف الحالية بين الآشوريين، فإن الاكتشافات العلمية تجبرنا على معرفة الحقيقة الواقعية
هناك الحضارة البابلية وليست الكلدانية
العائلة المالكة الحادية عشرة فقط في بابل كانت من قبيلة كلدانية
الكلدانيون القدماء، أو بشكل أكثر دقة الكلديين ، كانوا قبائل آرامية
لم تظهر هذه المصطلحات إلا في الآونة الأخيرة ومن خلال المسيحية، مثل الكلدوالآشوري السرياني، وهي مصطلحات غير دقيقة وغير سليمة. وهي محاولة لدمج الدين بالجنسية وهذا أمر غير صحيح
هناك الكثير في هذا الأمر وحتى يتسائل الواحد هل الشعب البابلي موجود الآن ومن هم!؟
ربما يستخدم المصطلح أو المصطلحات للتحالف السياسي، ولكن اللجوء إلى المنهج العلمي أفضل في هذا الصدد
كان الآشوريون مسالمين و امناء أكثر من أي شعب آخر، وكانوا مهتمين برفاهية وسلامة الجميع
في البداية، كان 99% من الآشوريين مزارعين. وكانوا رواد الزراعة، وكانت أراضيهم خصبة
بدأوا يعانون من غزوات العصابات الخارجية من جميع أنحاء آشور. كانوا يهاجمون في وقت الحصاد ويسرقون كل المحصول، وهذا حدث مرة بعد مرة وسنة بعد سنة
وعلى هذا النحو، لم يكن أمام الآشوريين خيار سوى بناء الدفاعات مما دفعهم بعد ذلك إلى فكرة بناء جيش
تفوق الآشوريون وازدادت قوة إمبراطوريتهم ووصلت إلى ذروتها في الفترة ما بين 911-612 ق.م
احتل الآشوريون مناطق معادية وقاموا ببناء أول إمبراطورية حقيقية في التاريخ وقسموا مناطقها إلى ممالك أصغر لها ملوك أو حكام تابعون
اعتبروا كل شخص مواطناً آشورياً وطلبوا من المناطق الأخرى الحفاظ على قدسية إيلو آشور دون فرض أي شروط لعبادته واستخدموه الرمز كهوية وطنية آشورية. وكانت لتلك المناطق والممالك الحرية الكاملة في عبادة آلهتها الإقليمية والحفاظ على دياناتها
أول أربعة ملوك سرجونيين أقوياء تبعهم للأسف أربعة ملوك ضعفاء، وفي النهاية سقطت الإمبراطورية في يد تحالف القوى من بابل وميدي وغيرهم
